Filipino EVOLs brought their unmistakable ENERGY to the UP Theater last April 25 for XLOV: 2026 Asia Tour in Manila. It was a night that felt both intimate and powerful. Only proof that some connections only grow stronger with time.

The concert marked Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru’s return to Manila following their 2025 mall tour, this time fulfilling their promise to come back with a full concert experience. True to their word: walang eme-eme.

MEDIA CONFERENCE

During the media conference, the group was asked what they missed most about the Philippines and what they were looking forward to on their return. Wumuti shared that they missed the energy of Filipino EVOLs – as well as the food. Everything they tried, he said, was delicious, with tapa standing out as a favorite.

When asked to describe Filipino fans in one word, Haru answered, “Powerful.” He recalled how the crowd’s cheers during their first visit left a lasting impression, energizing them throughout their performances. He also shared that he was excited to feel that same power again that night.

Hyun encouraged fans to look forward to their performances, noting how much they’ve improved since their last visit. He highlighted “I’mma Be” and “1&Only” as particularly meaningful songs for the group-tracks they paid special attention to while preparing for the concert. To the delight of fans and media, he even sang parts of the songs a cappella.

Rui was asked how their background in traditional dance influences their choreography. He explained that because their routines require technical precision, his training allows him to execute movements with more elegance. He added that their “genderless” concept holds many meanings, and their versatility allows them to express it in diverse ways.

CONCERT EXPERIENCE

XLOV delivered a high-energy setlist, opening the night with their most recent title track “Rizz” and debut song “I’mma Be.” The theater erupted into screams as the group showcased polished visuals, sharp choreography, and commanding stage presence.

The group also prepared special cover stages that highlighted their versatility. Wumuti and Rui delivered a powerful and sultry duet with Sunmi’s “Gashina,” while Hyun and Haru brought explosive energy and charisma to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Mamushi.” As a full group, they took on iconic performances including Taemin’s “Move,” BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom,” and Troye Sivan’s “Angel Baby.”

It was a special night for fans as XLOV performed most of the songs from their discography, giving EVOLs the rare chance to experience them live. Fan favorites like “Bizness,” “Scent,” and “Drip Drip” ignited the crowd, while their slower R&B tracks such as “Kiss and Goodbye” showcased their vocal strength and emotional range.

XLOV closed the night with “1&Only” and “Biii:-P,” even taking time to rehearse the fanchant with the audience to ensure the ENERGY stayed high until the very end.

Between performances, the members spoke directly to their Filipino fans – expressing heartfelt gratitude and reminiscing about their first visit to the country. Their sincerity resonated throughout the theater, strengthening the already deep bond between XLOV and their Philippine fanbase.

To cap off the night, the group took a photo with the audience and recorded a video together, shouting their chant in unison:

“X! LOV! X! LOV! Pyaaa! Walang eme-eme!”
