Filo ReVeluvs had a WENDYful time at W:ealive

ReVeluvs had a WENDYful time at the New Frontier Theater during Wendy’s first solo show in the country, W:ealive.

ReVeluvs, dressed in their coquette outfits, began filling the venue, their wide smiles and eager hearts brimming with anticipation for the lovable Wendy.

Dressed in a stunning red ensemble that exuded elegance and class, Wendy kicked off the show with her powerful opening track, Fireproof. Her first set featured well-loved songs such as Queen of the Party, Best Ever, and Chapter You, culminating in the crowd favorite Vermilion. Between performances, it was clear that Wendy was soaking in the overwhelming positive energy from her beloved fans. She effortlessly owned the stage, skillfully hosting the show and keeping the audience engaged and excited; setting the perfect tone for the rest of the evening.

For the next part of the show, Wendy returned to the stage wearing a blue dress that highlighted her feminine charm as she performed Like Water, another popular track of hers. This set also featured heartfelt OSTs from The Beauty Inside, Yumi’s Cells, and Start-Up. To pick-up the tempo towards the end she transitioned to her edgy track, Wish You Hell followed by Sunkiss. This set perfectly showed how Wendy is able to pour raw emotion into every performance, ensuring that each song resonated deeply with the audience while highlighting her vocal strength and technique as well as her years of experience as one of K-POP’s treasured vocalists.

For the encore, Wendy reappeared in her tour shirt and casual pants, serenading everyone with her song for ReVeluvs, Best Friend followed by The Road and another crowd favorite, Existential Crisis. During this time, Wendy took the moment to shine the spotlight on her band and sincerely thank all her fans, staff and crew since Manila was the last leg for her W:ealive tour that began in Seoul last year.

Just when we thought that the fun is over, Wendy came back for a second encore and sang Best Friend, The Road, and Existential Crisis (all of which were requested by her fans). To make the moment more unforgettable, Wendy roamed around the venue to greet her fans up close. This heartfelt gesture became a defining highlight of the night, as she tirelessly waved to everyone and showed her warm smile and genuine appreciation, leaving every ReVeluv in the venue with a memory to treasure.

In a nutshell, W:ealive is a strong start to this year’s K-pop shows. From the well-organized promotion and polished production to the bright energy that filled the venue, every detail stood out. We can confidently attest that hearing and seeing Wendy perform live is definitely 100x better compared to watching her performances and listening to her recorded tracks. Also, Wendy’s genuine warmth and friendly banter with her fans made the experience even more special, leaving us eagerly anticipating more lively K-POP shows like this this 2026.

Special thanks and congratulations to L-Squared Productions and Fangirlasia for another well orchestrated show!
