On November 23 at the New Frontier Theater, fans eagerly awaited their cue to enter the venue and witness the attractive, endearing, and captivating presence of actor Lee Chae-min. While everybody was falling in line, we noticed that the atmosphere was charged with excitement, anticipation, and kilig.

Dressed in an eye-catching all-white ensemble, Lee Chae-min opened the show by playing the grand piano, enchanting the audience with a performance of “Stay With Me,” a soundtrack from Bon Appétit, Your Majesty. During his greeting, he happily noted how many fans had come and shared that their cheers made playing the piano even more enjoyable.

He remarked that this was his first time in Manila and expressed how excited and overwhelmed he felt, saying everything had exceeded his expectations. He also complimented his Filipino fans’ beautiful smiles. Finally, he explained the meaning behind CHAEMF—short for “Chae-min’s friends”—because he considers his fans the people closest to him. It’s evident that he was very fond of the name that he gave his fans, saying that he will be calling them many times throughout the event.

The first segment, TMI CHAEMIN, gave fans a fun peek into what the 190cm actor loves most. He adores his two photogenic, belly-rub–loving puppies; prefers black or white outfits (according to him “simple is best”); showers immediately after getting home (especially after schedules); and enjoys listening to ballads. He even teased that he’s never been without abs. When fans chanted “sample, sample,” he playfully declined, joking that he couldn’t show them because there were babies in the crowd. He also shared that he hopes to play a lawyer or professor for his CHAEMFs. With props brought onstage, he transformed into a professor and playfully checked fans’ attendance, calling out to everyone from the leftmost to the rightmost side of the theater. If he is my professor I’ll definitely get a perfect attendance for the whole semester.

Returning to his MC roots, the next segment, playfully titled CHAEMIN BANK, showcased his hosting skills honed from Music Bank. He impressed his Filipino CHAEMFs by speaking Filipino fluently, delivering even long sentences with ease—enough to convince anyone that he could ace a Filipino class if he chose to learn it formally.

In the second half of the show, Lee Chae-min returned in a casual all-denim outfit to begin the CHAEMISSION segment, starting with the “Marikit sa Dilim” challenge. He then acted out different clues using only body language for the crowd to guess the food he tasted. Showcasing his acting skills, he helped fans correctly guess leche flan, the popular Filipino custard dessert.

A clip from Bon Appétit, Your Majesty was later shown, prompting fans to guess what he was eating in the scene. After several tries, one fan got it right, it was Ogolgy Samgyetang. When asked about his favorite dish from the BAYM set, he said the macarons with a twist were his top pick. Several lucky fans were also invited onstage to share memorable moments and meet him up close during Tell Me Your Wish.

The final segment, CHAEM INTO TIME, brought even more kilig as one fan was chosen to reenact a scene from the Filipino film ‘Starting Over Again’ with him. These heartfelt interactions made the night unforgettable for Lee Chae-min—memories he said he’ll carry with him long after his first Asian fan meeting tour ends.

Just when we thought that the show is over, CHAEMF were seen swooning when he sang “I Find You”, another popular soundtrack from Bon Appétit, Your Majesty originally sung by Doyoung.

He ended the show expressing how grateful he was with spending the time with Manila CHAEMF saying that for real, they are the best. Their responses were amazing and that he felt like he wanted to show a better version of himself not just an actor, but a person as well.

He closed the show by expressing heartfelt gratitude to his Manila CHAEMFs, saying they truly are the best. He shared how their amazing support inspired him to show not just how he will improve as an actor, but his true self as a person as well.

From his enchanting piano performance to playful challenges and intimate moments with CHAEMFs, he showcased not only his talents as an actor and performer but also his warmth, humor, and genuine appreciation for his fans. The night was a celebration of connection, joy, and kilig, leaving everyone looking forward to seeing more of Lee Chae-min—both on stage and in the hearts of his devoted CHAEMFs.
