Pulp Live World brings us another unforgettable moment to remember! Taecyeon’s 2023 Fan Meeting, SpecialTY in Manila is happening on September 23 at the New Frontier Theater!

K-Pop fans may know Taecyeon as one of the beastly idols from one of South Korea’s successful K-Pop groups, 2PM. Their group is not only popular in Korea but they also made waves in Asia and other international countries as well ever since their debuted in 2008.

Aside from being a successful beastly idol, Ok Taecyeon made a mark in the K-drama industry when he made his acting debut on Cinderella’s Stepsister. Since then, acting roles were offered to him left and right. His versatility as an actor was evident in every role he portrayed most especially during his stint in the hit drama (alongside Song Joongki), Vincenzo.

Here are some of our recommended K-dramas starring the multifaceted artist, Ok Taecyeon:

  1. Dream High (2011): Taecyeon’s first foray into the world of acting on television was in the drama “Dream High.” He portrayed the role of Jin Gook, a talented musician with a tough exterior but a soft heart. His performance resonated with viewers, and his chemistry with the cast, including Suzy and Kim Soo-hyun, helped make the series a hit.
  2. Who Are You? (2013): Taecyeon continued to hone his acting skills in this supernatural drama where he played the character of Detective Yang Si Ohn. His portrayal of a detective who could see ghosts added depth to the show’s intriguing premise.
  3. Wonderful Days (2014): In this family drama, Taecyeon took on the role of Kang Dong Hee, a kind-hearted young man who becomes entangled in a complicated family dynamic. His performance showcased his ability to tackle emotionally charged roles.
  4. Save Me (2017): Taecyeon’s performance in the gripping thriller series “Save Me” earned him critical acclaim. He played Han Sang Hwan, a young man who becomes involved in a cult and tries to save his family from its clutches. This role showcased his ability to tackle complex and dark subject matter.
  5. Vincenzo (2021): Taecyeon’s most recent project before my knowledge cutoff date was his appearance in the immensely popular drama “Vincenzo.” Although in a supporting role, his portrayal of Jang Han-seo, a charismatic but troubled character, left a lasting impact on viewers.

Ok Taecyeon’s filmography reflects his growth and evolution as an actor. From his early days as an idol to his current status as a respected actor in the Korean entertainment industry, Taecyeon has consistently delivered compelling performances across various genres. His willingness to take on challenging roles and his dedication to his craft have earned him a place in the hearts of fans and critics alike. As we eagerly anticipate his future projects, one thing is certain: Ok Taecyeon’s journey in the world of acting is far from over, and he will continue to leave his mark on the K-Industry.
