Looking for a noona-dongsaeng drama packed with passion, romance, and a small dose of crazy!? Well… this drama might be for you!

Something in the Rain a.k.a. Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food revolves around the lives of Jin Ah and Joon Hee.

Jin Ah is in her 30’s, working for a coffee company while yuppie Joon Hee, the younger brother of her bestfriend, is also her younger brother’s bestfriend. Joon Hee works for a video game company which happens to be in the same building where his pretty noona works.

The two then develops feelings for each other but, due to the nature of their relationship, there are hurdles that they need to overcome. Their relationship is also something that most might be envious of, a union that knows how to compromise, and one that is mature enough to handle crazy challenges while respecting and supporting each other’s decision/s enabling them to become better individuals while being together.

In spite of those circumstances, this drama is packed with high levels of “kilig” and swoon worthy episodes which will bring out the hopeless romantic in you.

Actress Son Hye Jin and breakout star Jung Hae In’s chemistry in this drama is undeniably awesome! I couldn’t think of other actors that will play the part of pretty noona Jin Ah and perfect guy Joon Hee.

All of Something in the Rain’s episodes are exclusively available for streaming on Netflix.

In other news, Jung Hae In concluded his successful fan meeting in Manila last June 30 at the Kia Theater. I hope he comes back to our shores soon!
